PureSport Sports Drink Cooler Tip: Hydrate with PureSport Workout prior to and during the workout. Drink only enough to maintain your body weight. Water loss from muscles and the circulatory system reduces the electrolyte content of the muscle and causes fatigue. Within 15 to 30 minutes of physical activity, consume PureSport Recovery to replenish glycogen and speed muscle healing. Consuming proteins stimulates internal insulin release, and exercising improves muscle response to insulin, which makes the muscles soak up glucose. This improved insulin response only lasts for about 30 to 45 minutes. After that, muscles become resistant to insulin and their ability to absorb glucose lessens. |
